Canadian YouTube star forecasts historic Maine blizzard

If you haven’t seen it already, on Saturday a popular YouTube vlogger from Nova Scotia posted a warning to Mainers regarding the blizzard that we are all now enduring, which is now known as “Winter Storm Juno.”

According to Google and Wikipedia, the man’s name is Frankie MacDonald, an amateur weatherman from Sydney, Nova Scotia. MacDonald, who has autism, posts his forecasts to his YouTube channel, “dogsandwolves,” where they have received more than 10 million views.

His reports have included storm warnings for his home province of Nova Scotia, as well as for places such as Vancouver, Minnesota, New York, Texas, and even far off places like Australia, Bermuda, and the Philippines.

Most of his posts garner around 1 or 2 thousand views, but so far his Maine forecast has roughly 50 thousand.
