Deceased Massachusetts woman declares Tom Brady’s innocence in her obituary

For all the sports radio hosts, ESPN analysts, and rabid New England Patriots haters who’ve obsessed over the nonsensical “Deflategate” drama for the past few months, a deceased woman from Auburn, Massachusetts has left a message in her obituary.

“Brady is innocent!!” declares Patricia M. Shong, who died last week at the age of 72 surrounded by family.

First reported by Boston.com, Shong asked her loved ones to make sure that her support for Patriots quarterback Tom Brady be included in her remembrance.

According to Boston.com, “Shong’s husband, sister, children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews are mentioned in her obituary, well ahead of the Brady reference.”

Also mentioned in the obituary, which can be found in full length here, was her love for scrapbooking, cross stitching, pixel art, and crocheting, as well as “weekly card night with the ladies.”
